The Heart of Football in Burton Latimer
Burton Park Wanderers Football Club is a proud grassroots football club based in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire. Established in 1961 and playing our home games at Latimer Park, we’ve been a cornerstone of the local football community for over six decades.
Known affectionately as the Wanderers, we compete in the Northamptonshire Combination Premier Division and wear our colours — blue and black stripes — with pride. We’re not just a football team. We’re a community: built on hard work, driven by passion, and kept alive by the dedication of our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and sponsors.

Our Mission
We exist to:
Provide opportunities for players of all backgrounds and ages to develop and enjoy the game
Be a welcoming and positive presence in the local community
Uphold the traditions of non-league football — honest, competitive, and built from the ground up
Our History
From our founding as Kettering Park Wanderers in 1961, to our move to Burton Latimer in 1973, we’ve grown through the leagues, weathered tough seasons, and celebrated big moments. We honour legends like Roger ‘Bo’ Patrick, who dedicated over 50 years to the club, and we carry that same spirit forward today.

Our Future
After recent league changes, the 2024/25 season marks a new chapter. With fresh leadership, renewed ambition, and a growing support base, we’re committed to building a stronger future both on and off the pitch.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan, a new face in the stands, or a local business wanting to give back — there’s a place for you at Burton Park Wanderers FC.
